Report a note

1. Open the note.
2. Tap “⋯” (“More actions”) in the top-right corner and choose “Report”.
3. Choose a reason and send it.

Reports go to the operator and are reviewed within 24 hours. See After a report for what happens next.

Stop seeing someone

1. Open one of their notes.
2. Tap “⋯” in the top-right corner and choose “Block this user”.
3. Tap “Block”.

Their notes no longer appear for you. To unblock, go to My page → Other → Blocked and tap “Remove” (“Blocked” only shows when you have blocked someone).

Delete

Your notes

Open your own note and tap “Delete” to remove it from the map at any time.

Your account

Go to My page → Other → Settings → Delete account. Your notes (including those kept in your history), images attached in earlier versions, the groups you created and your memberships, watches, invite codes, viewing records, reactions, feedback, and notification tokens are deleted from the server.

No notifications

1. Check that notifications for CityNote are on in your device settings.
2. In the app, My page → Other → Settings → “Notifications” shows the current state.
3. Each watched place and each group has its own notification switch. Check them in the “Watch” list and on the group screen.

Location

It is used to set where you stick a note and to show notes near you on the map. Location is used only while the app is in use, never in the background.

Without permission, you cannot stick a note where you are. You can change the permission in your device settings at any time. See the Privacy Policy for details.

After a report

1. Each report sends the note's text, location, the reason, and the author's anonymous ID to the operator.
2. The operator reviews it within 24 hours.
3. Notes that break the Terms are removed, and the author can no longer post.
4. If you can no longer post and think it is a mistake, contact us at the address below.
